The largest social network experiment in the world
MYGRAM is a social network experiment we created on Instagram. The idea came to us after discussing how we could enhance our community and get even more connected to all of you. In this experiment you will be a part of something bigger. Something totaly new. This has never been done on instagram before, and from what we know, this has never been done at all.
We will send out 2 disposable cameras to 5 different continents. America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia. We still havent decided how we are going to choose who we send the cameras to but we will get back to that once we know how many sign up. There are usually 27 photos on a disposable camera but this might differ. That adds up to 135 photos and people.Hopefully 135 different countries!
All users who get a camera must only take 1 photo. When the last photo is taken, the last user needs to send it back to us where we will process the film and scan all photos. We are sure some will be unproperly exposed, but does it matter? This is for fun right! In the end, we will start to publish the photos on instagram and on the webpage.
In the package from us, the first user will get a camera and a papersheet. On the papersheet he/she needs to fill in the number of the shot, the name and the instagram username. When all is done, he/she needs to repack all content in a good way so the camera does not get damaged under transport, and pass it on to the next user. We will give you the next persons adress once you are ready to send it. Each user has a maximum of 3 days to keep the camera before passing it on. The user signing up to recieve a camera must also pay for the shipment cost. All users who sign up must also be 18+ of age.
The participants can choose whateven they want to photograph. Lets keep it simple this first time doing this, but try to be creative! The most top 3 photos will be awarded with prizes. We have not found a suitable sponsor yet,but we are working on it.
